Ted Ginn Jr., head coach of the UFL's Columbus Aviators and a former first-round NFL selection, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated in Texas, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.

He was taken into custody in Euless on Saturday afternoon and later released on a $1,000 bond.

The Aviators stated that offensive coordinator Todd Haley will serve as interim head coach for their upcoming game. The team acknowledged awareness of the incident and is gathering more information.

Ginn, a former Ohio State and NFL wide receiver who was hired as head coach in December, turns 41 this Sunday. His team holds an 0-2 record this season.
