Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark declared herself "100% healthy" as the team opened training camp, following a rookie season limited to just 13 games by quad, groin, and ankle injuries.

Clark and head coach Stephanie White have discussed a cautious approach to her early-camp workload. "I'm a person that doesn't want to sit out a single rep," Clark said, "but I think just being a little bit smarter with my body." She acknowledged that pushing through injuries last year, rather than resting, may have led to playing while not fully recovered.

Coach White emphasized the importance of managing Clark's reps, noting it also allows the team to integrate new free-agent additions like Tyasha Harris and draft pick Raven Johnson. Clark averaged 16.5 points and 8.8 assists in her limited action last season.

The Fever return the core from last year's playoff team, including Aliyah Boston, who signed a record contract extension. Indiana finished 24-20 and reached the second round of the playoffs.
