Law enforcement officials reported that the 25-year-old athlete was observed traveling at a speed of 135 mph. This incident occurred on Interstate 16, where the posted speed limit is 70 mph. Following his booking at the county jail, Smith was released on bond and is now awaiting a scheduled court appearance.
