While the trade with Cleveland did not materialize, the Cowboys eventually moved to the 11th overall spot via a trade with Miami, where they selected Ohio State safety Caleb Downs. Dallas also traded the 20th overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles, who used the opportunity to draft USC wideout Makai Lemon.
The Browns' decision to draft Concepcion was met with positive feedback from around the league.
