A heated physical confrontation reportedly took place between Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo and Milwaukee Bucks guard Tyler Herro on Friday morning in Las Vegas. According to reports, the incident occurred at a gymnasium located within the Resorts World Casino while Herro was present with his AAU team.
Witnesses stated that the conflict began after Herro made comments as Adebayo entered the court area. Adebayo reportedly approached his former teammate and struck him in the face. Following the initial strike, Herro's AAU coach intervened to confront Adebayo, and security personnel eventually escorted Herro from the premises.

Sources suggest the physical altercation was fueled by recent social media activity. It is alleged that Adebayo confronted Herro regarding critical remarks Herro reportedly made online concerning the three-time All-Star center following their seven-year tenure together in Miami.
Leading up to the incident, reports indicated that Herro had shared content on social media highlighting league statistics, specifically ranking Adebayo among the least efficient midrange shooters from the previous season. Additionally, screenshots of direct messages attributed to Herro, which questioned Adebayo's contract and on-court performance, had been circulating online.
Context of the Former Teammates
Adebayo and Herro shared the court as teammates from 2019 to 2026, contributing to Miami's two NBA Finals appearances in 2020 and 2023. Their professional relationship recently changed following the major trade that sent Herro to the Milwaukee Bucks this summer as part of a package for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
When asked about the situation during the NBA Summer League, Herro opted to remain silent, stating: «My only comment is no comment.»

Both the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks have declined to comment on the matter. While Herro was seen sitting courtside during the Heat's 119-86 victory over the Bucks on Friday, he had earlier characterized his relationship with the Miami organization as positive, noting in an interview: «It's all love in Miami. I've seen a couple of the guys and the coaching staff... We're all good in Miami.»
Adebayo, who recently signed a significant three-year contract extension, was not present at the game, though he has been in Las Vegas for team workouts.
