The Las Vegas Raiders are finalizing a trade to send five-time Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens, according to reports from ESPN's Adam Schefter and other media outlets on Friday.

The Ravens will send their first-round draft picks in 2026 and 2027 to Las Vegas in exchange for the star pass rusher. The transaction is set to be processed officially next week.

Baltimore's offer reportedly surpassed one from the Dallas Cowboys, which included a first- and a second-round pick. The Ravens will have Crosby under contract for four seasons, with a significant cap hit anticipated.

This move marks a major, uncharacteristic swing for the Ravens' front office, which had never before traded a first-round pick for a veteran player. It comes during an offseason of change for Baltimore, following the departure of longtime coach John Harbaugh.

For the Raiders, the trade follows a period of reported strain in the relationship with Crosby, particularly after the team placed him on injured reserve late last season despite his objections. Crosby, who signed a massive extension last year, has consistently expressed his desire to win.

The acquisition immediately improves the Ravens' Super Bowl odds, giving quarterback Lamar Jackson a premier pass rusher he has lacked. Crosby, a former fourth-round pick, has recorded double-digit sacks in four of his seven seasons with the Raiders.
