Norwich City have reportedly agreed a fee with Toronto FC for the transfer of American striker Josh Sargent. The deal is said to be worth an initial £15.5 million, according to media reports.
Sargent had been pushing for a move away from the Championship club last month and has since been training with the U21s, amid reports of a disagreement with the coaching staff. He has not been available for first-team selection during this period.
The 26-year-old initially joined Norwich from Werder Bremen in 2021. During his time at the club, he made 157 appearances across all competitions, scoring 56 goals and providing 14 assists.
